Well, I'm doing as I was always told NOT to do...and that is "following the crowd." Hey, everyone else has a blogspot...why can't I?? Honestly, I have no idea what I am doing and I'm probably going to make a fool of myself for all the public world to see and laugh at!!
I must start by saying that I am a born-again Christian. Jesus Christ has redeemed me and washed me whiter than snow. He has set my feet upon a rock and I stand firm and secure on HIS foundation!!!! When I was 8 years old, I "walked the aisle" as we call it. I supposedly "got saved." Then, when I was 13, I began questioning my salvation, eternal security, and was there even a God. I cried for a month. Uncertain of my future and uncertain of my eternity. How could I call on Jesus if I wasn't sure there was a "Jesus". I would stay up late at night afraid that Jesus would come back and that I would be left behind. One night, I was asleep and I thought I heard the trumpet. I kept waiting to "fly" but I didn't. Panicked, I ran out of my room to see what was going on. I saw my younger brother and sister in my brother's room playing Nintendo. I said to them "The Lord has come back and we are all left behind." Poor kids, I made them cry and cry. So, this was one night of my misery for one month. Finally, at the end of the nightmare, on September 17th, 1997 I bowed and placed my head on our family coffee table and asked Jesus into my heart. I would like to say that I have been perfect and never doubted and blah blah blah. Yet, I know for certain that I have by no means been the exception. We are all sinful. We live in a fleshly body. Fighting sin is a daily duty we must face. We just have to be ready for battle at all times. We can't fight alone...we must have the Word of God to help us. One of my personal weaknesses is lack of faith. This is something that I tend to struggle with. God has brought me through a lot and my faith has grown LEAPS and BOUNDS!! Thank you, Lord!!
Here's a little more about me: I was a quarter of a century old yesterday. So, I guess that tells you how old I am!! I am the oldest of my parent's 3 children. I have been married to the love of my life for 6 1/2 years!! Jeremy is my best friend, my lover, and my soul mate!! He's definitely brought joy to my life in so many ways.
After trying to get pregnant for 2 years, God blessed us with our beautiful redhead, Noah. He is my pride and joy. His theme verse from his dear Mommy is "For this child, I prayed." 1 Samuel 1:27. Noah is 2 1/2 years old and full of life. The Lord blessed our family with an addition last December and we welcomed sweet Anna-Kate. She too has brought me great joy with her happiness and laughter.
I have much more to share about my life but it's late and I'm off to bed!!
